Placements24 is seeking a technically proficient Technical Support Agent to join a fully remote team, supporting users in Centurion and nationwide. You will resolve issues, guide product usage, and ensure service continuity from a remote setup.

The role requires strong communication, OS and networking knowledge, and experience with remote support tools and CRM systems. Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+ are advantageous, and a customer-focused attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a technical support role, preferably remote.
• Strong understanding of operating systems, networking concepts, and common software applications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for software and hardware issues via remote channels.
• Diagnose, replicate, and resolve complex technical problems reported by customers.

• Escalate unresolved issues to senior technical staff or development teams with detailed reports.
