Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Technical Support Engineer to join their client’s innovative team, working entirely remotely with a focus on clients in the Richards Bay region and beyond.

You will provide in-depth technical assistance for complex systems, diagnose intricate issues, and guide clients to effective resolutions, maintaining minimal operational disruption as a primary contact from a remote setting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years in technical support, system administration, or engineering roles.
Strong ability to diagnose and resolve complex problems in enterprise environments.
Excellent command of remote support tools and diagnostic software.
Outstanding communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
Proven ability to work independently and manage a diverse workload in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

Provide expert remote technical support and troubleshooting for complex hardware and software systems.
Diagnose and resolve advanced technical issues reported by clients via multiple communication channels.
Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to identify root causes and implement permanent solutions.
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including FAQs, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles.
Conduct remote training sessions for clients on product usage and best practices.
Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues before they impact clients.
