Placements24 is seeking a skilled Technical Support Agent to join their remote team, supporting customers in Richards Bay and beyond. You will resolve issues, guide users through troubleshooting steps, and ensure a seamless experience with our client's products.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a technical support role or IT helpdesk.
Strong knowledge of operating systems, software, and basic networking.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for customer interactions.
Must have reliable internet and a dedicated remote workspace.

Responsibilities

Provide first-line technical support to customers via phone, email, and chat.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, offering clear solutions.
Escalate complex technical problems to higher-level support teams when necessary.
Document technical issues, resolutions, and customer interactions in the support system.
Assist customers with product installations, configurations, and updates.
Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
