Job summary

Placements24 in South Africa is seeking a highly motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our expanding team. This fully remote role lets you recruit top talent across departments while maintaining a strong candidate experience.

You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, design sourcing strategies, and collaborate with hiring managers. The ideal candidate has 3+ years' TA experience, solid ATS skills, and excellent communication in a fast-paced virtual environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment.
• Proven track record of filling a variety of roles, preferably in a high-volume environment.
• Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and various recruitment tools.
• Excellent understanding of sourcing techniques and candidate engagement strategies.
• Strong interviewing and assessment skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fully remote setting.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive and results-oriented approach to recruitment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle, from understanding staffing needs to extending offers.
• Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
• Utilize recruitment channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and direct sourcing.
• Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and assess candidate qualifications against job requirements.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
• Provide a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
• Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide recruitment support.
• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date candidate database and recruitment metrics.
• Contribute to employer branding initiatives to attract top talent.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations during the recruitment process.
