Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Systems Installation Specialist to guide clients through remote installation and configuration of hardware and software, serving Durban and beyond. You will provide expert remote support, diagnose issues, and create clear documentation to ensure seamless deployment and optimal system performance, while collaborating with support and engineering teams.

Qualifications

Proven experience in technical support, systems installation, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on remote operations.
Excellent troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network configurations.
Familiarity with IT support ticketing systems and CRM software is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide remote technical assistance and guidance for the installation and setup of client systems and equipment.
Conduct remote diagnostic tests to identify and resolve installation-related issues and system malfunctions.
Develop and maintain clear, concise documentation and guides for remote installation processes.
Collaborate with customer support and engineering teams to elevate and resolve complex technical challenges.
Proactively communicate with clients to manage expectations and ensure a smooth remote installation experience.
Stay updated on product advancements and new installation methodologies to provide best-in-class remote support.
