Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Remote Installation & Configuration Specialist to manage the setup and deployment of complex systems from a remote location. Based anywhere, you will guide users and technical teams through the installation and configuration process, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance, with a focus on the Pretoria region.

This role requires strong technical acumen, excellent communication, and the ability to document procedures clearly.

Qualifications

Proven experience in system install, configuration, or technical support.
Strong understanding of networking principles, operating systems, and relevant software applications.
Excellent ability to document technical procedures clearly and concisely.
Proficiency in using remote access and management tools.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical setups remotely.

Responsibilities

Guide clients and field personnel through the remote installation and configuration of complex systems.
Develop and refine step-by-step installation and configuration guides for various scenarios.
Provide remote technical assistance to resolve setup-related issues and ensure successful deployment.
Perform remote system checks and validation to confirm successful installation and configuration.
Collaborate with the engineering team to test new deployment procedures and tools.
Maintain detailed records of installations, configurations, and any encountered challenges.
