Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated Remote Project Manager to lead software development initiatives for a distributed team. You will guide projects from inception through deployment, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products that meet client needs in an agile environment.

The role emphasizes strong communication, risk management, and collaboration with product owners, developers, QA, and designers across time zones.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years in software project management.
Experience with Jira/Confluence and Agile.
Strong remote leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria with product owners and stakeholders.
Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets, identifying risks and dependencies.
Facilitate communication among cross-functional teams across time zones.
Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and QA processes throughout the lifecycle.
Track progress and provide regular status updates to leadership.
