Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Social Program Manager to lead development, implementation, and evaluation of social support programs, driving positive impact from a fully remote setup.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master's degree in a related field with 7+ years in program management (3+ in leadership), strong budgeting, stakeholder engagement, and data-driven performance tracking to scale initiatives across Gauteng and beyond.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, public admin, or related field.
• 7+ years in program management in the social sector with at least 3 years in leadership.
• Proven success designing, implementing, and scaling social programs.
• Experience managing remote teams and budgets.
• Strong financial management, budgeting, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee lifecycle of social programs from concept to evaluation.
• Develop strategic plans and roadmaps for growth and impact.
• Manage program budgets with financial accountability.
• Lead and mentor remote program coordinators and staff.
• Build relationships with community stakeholders and partners.
• Monitor performance with data-driven metrics and report to senior management.
• Ensure programs align with mission, values, and objectives.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
• Manage risks and develop contingency plans.
• Represent the organization in forums and community engagements.
