The ideal candidate has a IT/cybersecurity degree, 1–3 years SOC experience, and familiarity with SIEM (Splunk/LogRhythm), EDR, and IDS/IPS, along with strong communication and problem-solving skills. Remote work offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in an Information Security role, preferably within a SOC environment.
• Familiarity with security monitoring tools such as SIEM (e.g., Splunk, LogRhythm), IDS/IPS, and EDR solutions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events from SIEM, IDS/IPS, and EDR systems.
• Analyze security incidents to identify root causes, impact, and response actions.
• Perform initial triage and investigation; escalate complex issues as needed.
• Respond to incidents per established procedures and playbooks.
• Assist in developing detection rules and incident response playbooks.
• Conduct vulnerability scans and help prioritize remediation.
