Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Sound Designer in the video game or interactive media industry.
• Proficiency in DAWs such as Pro Tools, Reaper, or Nuendo.
• Experience with Wwise or FMOD middleware.
• Strong understanding of audio principles, mixing, and signal processing.
• Portfolio of sound design work for games or interactive experiences is required.
• Ability to work remotely and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with C++ or scripting for audio implementation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, and implement high-quality sound effects, foley, and environmental audio for interactive projects.
• Develop and maintain sound banks, ensuring consistency and adherence to project specifications.
• Collaborate closely with game designers, narrative teams, and level artists to integrate audio seamlessly into gameplay.
• Mix and master audio assets to ensure optimal performance across various platforms and hardware configurations.
• Record and edit voice-over performances, working with actors and vocal directors to achieve desired results.
• Research and implement new audio technologies and techniques to enhance player immersion.
• Provide creative feedback and technical guidance to junior sound designers and external vendors.
