Placements24 is seeking a Senior Sommelier for a world-renowned fine-dining restaurant group. This fully remote advisory role focuses on wine selection, cellar management, and wine-pairing guidance for the group’s portfolio, delivered virtually to F&B teams and clients.

The ideal candidate has global wine knowledge, 5–7 years of high-end experience, and the ability to translate complex information into accessible advice, with strong communication skills and independent work in a remote setting.

Competenze

• Advanced sommelier certification or equivalent extensive experience.
• 5–7 years of progressive Sommelier experience in high-end, fine-dining settings.
• Global wine regions, varietals, vintages, and winemaking techniques knowledge.
• Proven ability to build and manage an award-winning wine list.
• Strong remote communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Mansioni

• Develop, curate, and manage the group's wine list, focusing on quality, diversity, and profitability.
• Provide remote expert advice on wine pairings for menus and guest preferences.
• Conduct virtual wine training sessions for restaurant staff across locations.
• Advise on cellar management including storage, inventory control, and stock rotation remotely.
• Stay abreast of wine industry trends, sourcing new vintages.
• Collaborate with culinary and F&B teams to align wine service with dining experiences.
