Placements24 seeks an accomplished Reservoir Engineer to lead data-driven reservoir performance analysis and forecasting from a remote setup. You will develop and maintain simulation models, drive EOR strategies, and shape field development plans in collaboration with global teams.

The role requires 6+ years in reservoir engineering, expertise in Petrel/Eclipse/CMG, and strong analytical skills to influence major oil and gas projects from home-based offices.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering or related geoscience.
• Minimum of 6 years of reservoir engineering experience.
• Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Petrel, Eclipse, CMG).
• Solid understanding of petrophysics, geology, and production engineering principles.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reservoir simulation models using industry-standard software.
• Analyze production data to assess reservoir performance and identify trends.
• Estimate hydrocarbon reserves and forecast future production rates.
• Recommend strategies for well placement, stimulation, and EOR.
• Collaborate remotely with geoscientists, drilling engineers, and production engineers.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations on reservoir performance and development plans.
