Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Senior Reservoir Engineer to join a globally dispersed, fully remote team. You will assess and optimize hydrocarbon extraction across diverse basins, applying advanced engineering principles to support field operations and long-term planning.

You will lead reservoir analysis, develop EOR/IOR strategies, run simulations, interpret tests, and present results to leadership. Strong knowledge of geostatistics, petrophysics, and independent project management is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of hands-on reservoir engineering experience.
• Experience with reservoir simulation software and data analysis tools.
• Strong knowledge of geostatistics, petrophysics, and well logging interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth reservoir analysis, including well test interpretation, decline curve analysis, and material balance calculations.
• Develop and execute strategies for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) and improved oil recovery (IOR) to maximize resource utilization.
• Utilize reservoir simulation software to model fluid flow and forecast production under various development scenarios.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including geologists, production engineers, and management, to ensure integrated reservoir management.
• Document findings, provide technical recommendations, and present results to project teams and senior leadership.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in reservoir engineering.
