Job summary
Placements24 seeks a distinguished Lead Reservoir Engineer to provide strategic direction and technical leadership for reservoir management across multiple assets in Oil & Gas. This fully remote role offers the chance to guide critical energy resource management from a global setting.
The candidate will lead a team of reservoir engineers, develop long-term field development plans, manage reserve assessments, and drive advanced recovery techniques with exceptional leadership and communication
Qualifications
- Master's degree or PhD in Petroleum Engineering.
- 12+ years of reservoir engineering experience with leadership.
- Experience with reservoir simulation software, production forecasting and economic analysis.
Responsibilities
- Lead the reservoir engineering team in developing and executing field development strategies.
- Oversee reserve estimation and reporting to industry standards.
- Conduct advanced reservoir studies including simulation and decline curve analysis.
- Identify opportunities for EOR and production optimization.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
