Placements24 is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join our FinTech client remotely. You will design, build, and scale robust backend services using Python and Django, design RESTful APIs, and contribute to architectural decisions from a distributed systems perspective.

You should have 5+ years in backend development, strong SQL/NoSQL skills, and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD is a plus, and you will mentor juniors while

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in backend development.
Strong proficiency in Python and Django with RESTful API design.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and cloud platforms.
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain backend services using Python and Django.
Build and manage RESTful APIs to support web and mobile apps.
Optimize performance, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure system stability.
Work with PostgreSQL/MySQL and NoSQL databases as needed.
Collaborate with frontend, product, and stakeholders on new features.
Implement security and data protection measures.
Write clean, documented code and participate in code reviews.
Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decisions.
Mentor junior developers and share expertise.
