Job summary

Placements24 seeks a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex SaaS development and implementation projects in a fully remote environment. You will guide initiatives from inception through deployment, coordinating cross-functional teams across geographies and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in project management, strong Scrum/Agile experience, and proficiency with Jira, Confluence or Asana.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in project management for SaaS products.
• Experience managing remote or distributed teams.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies (Scrum Master a plus).
• Proficiency with PM tools like Jira, Confluence, Asana.
• Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills for remote work.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and understanding of software architecture (beneficial).
• PMP or equivalent certification is highly regarded.

This role is critical for overseeing the successful delivery of complex SaaS product development and implementation projects across diverse global teams. You will be instrumental in guiding projects from inception through to successful deployment, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and customer needs. Key Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria for SaaS development and implementation projects.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Lead and manage cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams (developers, QAs, designers, product owners) using agile methodologies.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among remote team members and stakeholders globally.
• Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to development, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
• Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively, ensuring minimal disruption to timelines and deliverables.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular, clear, and concise project status updates.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices in software development and project management.
• Manage vendor relationships and external partnerships as required for project success.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and tools within a remote setting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on SaaS product development and delivery.
• Proven experience managing remote or distributed teams effectively.
• Deep understanding of agile and scrum methodologies (experience as a Scrum Master is a plus).
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Asana, or similar.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport remotely.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and understanding of software architecture is beneficial.
