Placements24 is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join its globally distributed team, working remotely from anywhere. You will optimize and troubleshoot complex industrial processes in the energy sector, leveraging chemical engineering principles and process control to drive efficiency, safety, and environmental compliance.

The role requires a Master's or PhD in Chemical Engineering with 10+ years of experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or power, plus expertise in Aspen Plus/HYSYS and SIS.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Chemical Engineering.
• 10+ years of process engineering experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or power.
• Proven expertise in process design, simulation (Aspen Plus, HYSYS), and optimization.
• Strong knowledge of process control systems, instrumentation, and SIS.
• Excellent analytical and independent problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication for remote collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Analyze and optimize existing industrial processes to improve yield, reduce costs, and minimize waste.
• Design and implement new process technologies and equipment, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
• Develop and maintain process simulation models for troubleshooting and performance prediction.
• Troubleshoot operational issues, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in process operations.
• Collaborate with plant operators, maintenance teams, and R&D departments to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
