Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Project Manager to drive digital transformation initiatives in a remote-capable role within South Africa. You will guide complex projects from inception to completion, aligning outcomes with strategic goals and business needs.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in project management, strong leadership and stakeholder management, and experience with Jira, Asana, and MS Project in a remote setting. PMP/PRINCE2 is highly desirable.

Qualifications

8+ years of progressive project management experience, with 5+ years in large-scale digital transformation.
Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects with significant budgets and timelines.
Strong proficiency in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder influencing skills.

Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive project plans with scope, goals, resources, budget and timelines for digital transformation.
Oversee project execution, monitor progress, and mitigate risks to meet milestones.
Lead cross-functional teams and ensure accountability across stakeholders.
Communicate status updates to stakeholders and manage expectations.
