Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead digital transformation initiatives on a fully remote basis within South Africa. You will drive website redesigns, app development, and digital marketing programs, coordinating virtual teams to deliver high-impact solutions.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in project management, with 4+ years in digital projects, and holds PMP/PRINCE2 or Agile certifications.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, business, marketing or related field.
PMP, PRINCE2 or Agile certifications preferred.
7+ years experience in project management, with 4+ years on digital projects.
Experience managing projects with budgets up to R35 million.
Proven ability to lead remote cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of digital transformation projects (website redesigns, app development, digital marketing).
Define project scope, goals, deliverables, technical requirements, and success metrics with stakeholders.
Develop project plans, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
Manage risks, issues, and changes in a virtual environment with proactive mitigation.
Coordinate with remote designers, developers, marketers, and QA testers.
Ensure deliverables meet high-quality standards and align with the digital roadmap.
Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders via virtual channels and status reports.
Monitor progress against baselines and take corrective actions for on-time, within-budget delivery.
Champion Agile methodologies and foster team collaboration in remote setup.
