Placements24 is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex digital transformation initiatives in a fully remote role within South Africa. You will guide clients through strategic planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring seamless integration of new systems and processes.

This position requires exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a deep understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• PMP or Agile certifications (e.g., Scrum Master) are highly desirable.
• 7–9 years of progressive project management experience with a focus on digital transformation, IT projects, or software lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of digital transformation projects for a diverse client base.
• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans with timelines, budgets, resources, and risk mitigation.
• Manage project teams, providing direction and performance feedback in a remote setting.
• Facilitate clear communication among project stakeholders including clients, technical teams, and executives.
• Oversee implementation of new technologies and processes with minimal disruption.
• Monitor progress, identify roadblocks, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
• Conduct regular status meetings and prepare comprehensive stakeholder reports.
• Ensure all deliverables meet high quality standards and client expectations.
