You will automate deployments with Terraform/Ansible, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with DevOps and Systems teams to support scalable applications.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of experience in network engineering, with at least 3 years focused on cloud networking.
• Expertise in core networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, DNS, DHCP).
• Hands-on experience with cloud networking services (AWS VPC, Azure VNet, GCP Networking).
• Proficiency in network automation tools and scripting (Python, Ansible).
• Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.

About the Role

Our client, a globally recognized technology firm, is expanding its remote workforce and seeks a highly experienced Senior Network Engineer to join their team. This role is entirely remote, focusing on the design, implementation, and management of robust, scalable, and secure network infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). You will be instrumental in architecting our next-generation network solutions, ensuring optimal performance, high availability, and seamless connectivity for our distributed user base and services. This position demands a deep understanding of modern networking principles, advanced troubleshooting skills, and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential network issues. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps and Systems Administration, to ensure network infrastructure aligns with business objectives and technological advancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage secure and scalable enterprise network infrastructure in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Participate in on‑call rotation for incident response and critical issue resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in network engineering, with at least 3 years focused on cloud networking.
• Expertise in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, DNS, DHCP, and other core networking protocols.
• Hands‑on experience with major cloud provider networking services (e.g., AWS VPC, Azure VNet, GCP Networking).
• Proficiency in network automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ansible).
• Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
• Experience with network monitoring and analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, Prometheus).
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCIE, AWS Certified Advanced Networking Specialty) are highly desirable.
