This is a critical role responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing management of robust network security infrastructure to protect our company's digital assets and sensitive data. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in cybersecurity principles, network protocols, threat detection, and incident response, with a proven track record of securing complex enterprise networks. Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain secure network architectures, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and secure access solutions.
• Monitor network traffic and security alerts to identify and respond to potential threats and security incidents in a timely manner.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security weaknesses.
• Develop and enforce network security policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
• Manage and configure security devices and software, ensuring optimal performance and up-to-date configurations.
• Lead incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery from security breaches.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of network design and implementation.
• Stay abreast of emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies, and recommend appropriate countermeasures.
• Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to junior security analysts and engineers.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of network security infrastructure, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in network security engineering, with a strong emphasis on designing and managing secure network infrastructures.
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, protocols, and best practices, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, and firewalls.
• Proficiency with security technologies such as Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), IDS/IPS, SIEM solutions, and endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools.
• Experience with VPN technologies, secure remote access solutions, and cloud security best practices (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong understanding of threat landscape, vulnerability management, and incident response methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CCNP Security, or CISM are highly desirable.
