Placements24 is seeking a Remote Cloud Network Architect to design and implement cloud network solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP for a global telecommunications leader. This fully remote role emphasizes scalable, secure networking and collaboration with distributed teams.

Ideal candidates have extensive cloud networking experience, IaC knowledge, and certifications, plus strong communication and independent work capabilities in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in network architecture and design, with at least 5 years focused on cloud networking.
• Proven expertise in designing and managing networks on AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Deep understanding of cloud networking constructs: VPCs, VNets, subnets, routing, security groups, load balancers, firewalls.
• Strong knowledge of hybrid cloud connectivity solutions (Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway).
• Experience with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills at clear articulation of complex concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects remotely.
• Relevant cloud certifications (AWS Advanced Networking, Azure Network Engineer Associate) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement robust cloud network solutions across multiple cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Define and enforce network security policies and best practices within cloud environments.
• Develop strategies for network connectivity, including VPC/VNet design, transit gateways, and hybrid connectivity solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend new cloud networking technologies and services.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues within the cloud infrastructure and provide rapid resolution.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of applications and services with the cloud network.
• Create and maintain comprehensive network architecture documentation and diagrams.
• Provide expert guidance on cloud networking best practices and emerging trends to internal stakeholders.
