Placements24 is seeking an experienced Cloud Network Engineer to join a fully remote team. You will design, implement, and manage scalable cloud networking across AWS, Azure, and GCP, ensuring high availability and security.

You will automate provisioning with Terraform/Ansible, collaborate with distributed teams, and optimize performance in hybrid/multi-cloud setups. Strong focus on remote collaboration and continuous learning.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain secure and scalable network infrastructure on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Implement and manage virtual private clouds (VPCs), subnets, routing, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Develop and automate network provisioning, configuration, and management processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations for latency and throughput.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a strong focus on cloud networking .
• Hands-on experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their networking services.
• Proficiency in network automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Python.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VPNs, and network security principles.
• Experience with container networking (e.g., Kubernetes networking) is a plus.
