Placements24 is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join a global mining team on a fully remote basis. You will lead mineral processing and beneficiation initiatives, analyze process data, and drive efficiency improvements across international sites.

The role emphasizes expert metallurgical knowledge, remote collaboration, and delivering feasibility studies and capital project support from anywhere in the world.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Metallurgical/Chemical Engineering.
• 10+ years of progressive process engineering experience in mining/ metals.
• Expertise in mineral processing techniques and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and optimization of mineral processing circuits.
• Conduct process simulations and mass/energy balances.
• Develop process control strategies to improve recovery and grade.
• Provide technical mentorship to site-based engineers and teams.
• Prepare feasibility studies and project proposals.
