The role requires 8+ years in mineral processing, advanced degrees, and proficiency with METSIM and process modeling. Your remote collaboration will drive value while ensuring site performance and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in mineral processing and metallurgy, with a focus on base or precious metals.
• Strong proficiency in metallurgical accounting, process modeling software (e.g., METSIM), and data analysis tools.
• Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and optimizing complex mineral processing circuits.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for remote team engagement.

Responsibilities

• Analyze metallurgical data from processing plants to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize mineral recovery, concentrate grades, and operational costs.
• Provide remote technical support and guidance to plant metallurgists and operators.
• Lead process troubleshooting efforts and root cause analysis for operational issues.
• Conduct process simulations and modeling to test new strategies and equipment configurations.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for management.
