Qualifications
- Master's degree or PhD in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in mineral processing and metallurgy with a focus on plant operations.
- Expertise in flotation, hydrometallurgy, or pyrometallurgy.
- Proficiency in metallurgical simulation software and data analysis tools.
- Ability to diagnose complex process issues and develop effective solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication for remote collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Analyze process data to identify improvements in mineral processing circuits (flotation, leaching, milling).
- Develop strategies to optimize metal recovery and reduce operating costs.
- Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting for plant operations.
- Conduct pilot plant studies and laboratory tests for new processes or reagents.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and process upgrade recommendations.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in mineral processing.
