Placements24 is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a fully remote team. The role focuses on mechanical design, analysis, and leading remote projects with world-wide collaboration.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, 8+ years of relevant experience, and deep proficiency in Creo, SolidWorks, and ANSYS. You will drive design innovation, develop engineering drawings, and mentor other engineers in a globally distributed team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of professional mechanical engineering experience.
• Expert proficiency in 3D CAD software Creo, SolidWorks and advanced simulation tools ANSYS.
• Proven experience leading remote engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of materials science and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptualization, design, and validation of complex mechanical systems and products.
• Perform in-depth stress analysis, thermal modeling, and dynamic simulations to optimize designs.
• Develop and maintain detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation for production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, hardware, and manufacturing engineers through virtual platforms.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other engineers within the remote team.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure on-time, within-budget completion.
