Placements24 is seeking a Remote Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead sophisticated mechanical design projects with a globally distributed team. You will drive concept to production, conduct FEA/CFD studies, and deliver detailed CAD models, drawings, and specifications.

Ideal candidates have a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering plus 10+ years of experience, expert CAD skills (SolidWorks/CATIA), and strong communication for remote work across time zones.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive mechanical engineering design experience.
• Expert CAD skills in SolidWorks and CATIA with strong simulation knowledge.
• Excellent communication for a distributed remote team.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and validation of advanced mechanical systems from concept to production.
• Perform FEA/CFD analyses to ensure performance, durability and safety.
• Create CAD models, drawings, and specifications with detailed docs.
• Collaborate across hardware, software and product teams across time zones.
• Oversee prototypes, testing, and performance validation; mentor junior engineers.
• Improve design processes and standards through continuous improvement.
