Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer for a fully remote role dedicated to manufacturing process improvement. You will analyze operations, identify inefficiencies, and implement Lean and Six Sigma solutions to boost productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities include designing SOPs, flow diagrams, and KPIs; developing data-driven reports for senior management; and mentoring cross-functional teams across multiple sites in a remote-ready environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in industrial engineering with focus on manufacturing process improvement.
• Green or Black Belt Six Sigma preferred.
• Strong data analytics and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with process mapping, simulations, and statistical tools.
• Excellent remote communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify optimization and cost reduction opportunities.
• Design and implement Lean and Six Sigma improvements.
• Develop data tools to monitor performance and identify trends.
• Create SOPs, process flow diagrams and work instructions.
• Collaborate virtually with plant managers, engineers and production teams.
• Lead cross-functional teams to address operational challenges.
• Evaluate new technologies or equipment to enhance capabilities.
• Train and mentor team members on improvement techniques.
• Develop and track KPIs to measure impact.
• Prepare detailed project reports and presentations for senior management.
