Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Industrial Engineer for a fully remote role. You will lead manufacturing process optimization, drive Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, and mentor cross-functional teams across multiple facilities.

The position emphasizes data analytics, simulation tools, and autonomous, proactive work in a remote environment. The role requires a Master's in Industrial Engineering or related field and 7–10 years of progressive experience in manufacturing process

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of progressive industrial engineering experience with emphasis on process optimization.
• Proven leadership in managing complex projects and driving change.
• Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred), and CI.
• Strong data analysis, statistical modeling, and simulation skills (Python, R, Arena, AutoCAD).

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of advanced manufacturing processes and systems.
• Analyze production data to identify root causes and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and execute strategic plans for process optimization and Lean/Six Sigma initiatives.
• Oversee and mentor junior engineers and cross-functional teams in improvement methodologies.
• Use simulation, modeling, and data analysis tools to predict performance and validate solutions.
• Define and track KPIs for manufacturing operations aligned with business goals.
• Create and maintain process documentation, SOPs, control plans, and best practices.
• Collaborate with remote stakeholders across departments and locations.
• Stay updated on new manufacturing technologies and industry trends.
• Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards.
