Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Financial Manager to join a fully remote team in South Africa. You will oversee FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to drive strategic growth and financial health.

Responsibilities include leading annual budgets, preparing management reports, building financial models, and ensuring IFRS/GAAP compliance. Strong Excel skills and experience with SAP/Oracle are essential; remote collaboration across a distributed finance team is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years in financial management or FP&A roles.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in SAP, Oracle or QuickBooks and advanced Excel.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives and planning.
• Monitor KPIs, conduct variance analysis, and provide actionable insights.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable activities.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Mentor junior finance team members.
