Placements24 is seeking a Senior Financial Controller to oversee all financial operations and reporting for a remote-capable organization. You will ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial data, drive strategic planning, and manage accounting functions from anywhere.

The role requires a Master's in Accounting or Finance, CPA certification, 10+ years in accounting with 5+ in a senior role, and strong GAAP/IFRS expertise.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent certification mandatory.
• 10+ years in accounting/financial management; 5+ years in a senior controller role.
• Deep expertise in GAAP/IFRS, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Proven ability to manage remote teams and leverage technology for efficient financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Provide strategic financial guidance and analysis to senior management to support decision-making.
