Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Financial Controller to lead the finance function in a fully remote capacity. You will oversee accounting operations, FP&A, and internal controls, ensuring regulatory compliance and strategic financial guidance.

The role requires strong leadership of remote teams and extensive knowledge of GAAP/IFRS. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in accounting and finance, including at least 5 years in a controller or senior role, and holds a CPA or equivalent

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent certification.
• 10+ years in accounting/finance; 5+ years in a controller or senior role.
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
• In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS, tax regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Manage FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP or IFRS.
• Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering high performance and continuous improvement.
• Manage banking relationships and optimize cash flow management.
