Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Group Financial Controller for a fully remote leadership role. You will oversee financial reporting, consolidation, and internal controls across the group, ensuring IFRS compliance and timely, accurate information for strategic decision-making.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow across subsidiaries, while maintaining strong relationships with auditors and tax advisors.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification (CA(SA), CPA, ACCA) is essential.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with group financial control experience.
• Proven track record in consolidation and IFRS reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of financial reporting, accounting operations, and internal controls for the group.
• Ensure IFRS compliance and regulatory requirements across the group.
• Coordinate consolidated financial statements and group reporting packages.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management for the group.
• Maintain relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and external stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement of financial processes and systems across subsidiaries.
