Placements24 is seeking a motivated Financial Analyst to join a remotely-based finance team in South Africa. The role focuses on financial analysis, modeling, and insights to support strategic decisions, with the flexibility of a fully remote work environment.

You'll conduct variance and profitability analyses, develop forecasting models, prepare reports for senior management, and monitor KPIs. Strong Excel skills and experience with Power BI/Tableau are essential, as is the ability to work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis or corporate finance.
• Strong financial modeling and forecasting skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with Power BI, Tableau, ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication, able to present complex data clearly.
• Experience working remotely and meeting deadlines.
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Experience in data visualization and reporting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, profitability analysis, and trend identification.
• Develop financial models to support business forecasting, budgeting, and long-term strategic planning.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management and various stakeholders.
