Placements24 is assisting a leading global financial consulting client in finding a Remote Financial Analyst in South Africa. The role focuses on in-depth financial analysis, robust modeling, and strategic support for a diverse, international client portfolio.

The successful candidate will work autonomously in a remote-first environment, delivering insightful reports and dashboards, and collaborating with remote teams across South Africa to drive financial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or similar role.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills including pivot tables and macros.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including variance, trend analysis and forecasting.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models to support planning and decision-making.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, dashboards and presentations for senior management and clients.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Evaluate financial performance of projects and business units and identify improvement areas.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and provide analytical support.
• Monitor key financial metrics and report performance against targets.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform financial strategies.
• Support the development and implementation of new financial processes and systems.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all reporting and analysis.
