Placements24 is seeking a Remote Senior Event Catering Coordinator to manage client communications and end-to-end catering operations for a variety of events.

You will coordinate with chefs, plan menus, schedules, and logistics while maintaining CRM records and collaborating with marketing to promote catering services. This fully remote role offers flexibility and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in event planning or catering coordination or a similar client-facing role.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with virtual collaboration tools and event management software.
• Self-starter who can work independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between clients and the catering operations team throughout the planning process.
• Develop detailed event catering proposals including menus, staffing, and logistics.
• Coordinate with chefs to finalize menus and dietary requirements for timely food prep.
• Manage event schedules, timelines, and deadlines for all projects.
• Oversee procurement of supplies and inventory for events and maintain records in CRM.
• Conduct virtual site inspections and client consultations as needed.
• Troubleshoot issues that arise before or during events.
• Collaborate with marketing on promotional materials for catering services.
• Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality catering services.
