Placements24 is seeking a Senior Event Catering Coordinator for a fully remote role. You will act as the central client liaison, coordinating menus, staffing, and logistics with our catering partners to deliver exceptional experiences for diverse events.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of event planning or catering coordination experience, superb communication, and strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects in a remote, virtual team setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in event planning or catering coordination.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and deadlines.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in virtual collaboration tools and event management software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between clients and the catering operations team, managing all communication throughout the event planning process.
• Develop detailed event catering proposals, including menu selections, staffing needs, and logistical plans.
• Coordinate with chefs and catering staff to finalize menus, confirm dietary requirements, and ensure timely preparation of food.
• Manage event schedules, timelines, and critical deadlines for all assigned catering projects.
• Oversee the procurement of necessary supplies and equipment for events, ensuring efficient inventory management.
• Conduct virtual site inspections and client consultations as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise before or during events in a timely and effective manner.
• Maintain accurate client records and event documentation in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on promotional materials related to catering services.
• Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality catering services and exceeding expectations.
