Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Event Catering Manager for a fully remote role. You will develop strategies for high-end events, oversee planning and execution virtually, and build strong client relationships to drive profitability.

You will manage budgets, lead remote teams, and collaborate with suppliers to ensure top-quality catering services while staying compliant with health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Event Catering Manager or similar leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive catering strategies for a diverse range of events, ensuring alignment with client objectives and brand standards.
• Oversee all aspects of event planning and execution, from menu conceptualization and vendor management to staffing and on-site coordination (virtually).
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their needs and exceeding expectations.
• Manage catering budgets effectively, ensuring profitability and cost control without compromising quality.
• Lead and mentor remote catering teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Source and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring the highest quality ingredients and services.
• Continuously innovate and introduce new catering concepts and service offerings to stay ahead of market trends.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations across all catering operations.
• Analyze event performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop promotional materials and strategies for catering services.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
