Placements24 is seeking an experienced Event Catering Manager to join our remote operations team. The role oversees planning, coordination, and execution of catering for a variety of events, managing logistics from initial client contact through post-event review.

You will maintain high standards of service, work with suppliers, and leverage virtual platforms to deliver seamless culinary experiences for attendees regardless of location.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering management or event planning.
• Knowledge of food safety and cost control principles.
• Excellent remote communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed event catering plans, including menus, staffing, budgets, and timelines.
• Coordinate with virtual event platforms and on-site teams (where applicable) to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Source and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality ingredients and timely delivery.
• Conduct virtual client consultations to understand needs and tailor bespoke catering solutions.
• Oversee event execution, troubleshoot issues, and ensure client satisfaction.
• Analyze post-event feedback and financial data to identify areas for improvement and cost optimization.
