Job summary

Hire Resolve is seeking a Senior DevOps / SRE Cloud Engineer to own the Azure-based Kubernetes platform end-to-end, with remote or hybrid options based on location. You will build and operate AKS clusters, implement IaC, and drive reliability across the production stack.

You will collaborate with engineering teams to enhance observability, security, and automation, bring SRE practices, implement GitHub Actions pipelines, and maintain capacity and incident response.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps/SRE/Platform Engineering.
• 2-3 years operating Kubernetes in production and 2+ years on Azure.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• CKA/CKAD or Azure Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer certifications are advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving ability, clear technical communication, and the capacity to operate autonomously within a hybrid/remote team.
• Azure Platform experience with AKS, ADLS Gen2, Key Vault, Entra ID, VNets/Private Endpoints, and Service Bus.
• Production Kubernetes depth: Helm, operator deployment, node-pool sizing, pod troubleshooting, upgrades.
• Proven ability to author modular IaC with Terraform and manage state safely.
• Docker and GitHub Actions pipeline development with required status checks.
• Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, structured logging, and SLO-based alerting.
• Linux Bash scripting with maintainable tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own Azure Kubernetes platform end-to-end (AKS) and related Azure infra using Terraform.
• Maintain GitHub Actions pipelines with quality gates, security checks, and automated deployments.
• Own observability, SLOs, capacity planning, and incident response across environments.
• Manage platform secrets, network controls, and Entra ID identity governance.
• Partner with engineering teams to resolve operational bottlenecks and drive reliability standards.
