Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for a fully remote role to design, automate, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP. You will own CI/CD pipelines, IaC using Terraform/Ansible, and container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.

You will script in Python and Bash, enhance monitoring, and collaborate across development and operations in an Agile environment. Remote work flexibility and security best practices are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure roles.
• Cloud infra experience AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Hands-on with Terraform/Ansible; Docker and Kubernetes expertise.
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell; CI/CD tooling knowledge.
• Strong networking, security, monitoring fundamentals; Git proficiency.
• Remote-friendly and Agile environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated delivery.
• Implement IaC using Terraform/Ansible; reference CloudFormation where relevant.
• Configure Docker containers and orchestrate with Kubernetes.
• Develop monitoring, alerting, and logging to ensure performance.
• Automate tasks via Python, Bash scripts; optimize deployments.
• Collaborate with developers to improve performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot complex infra/deployment issues; uphold security practices.
• Participate in on-call rotations; stay updated on DevOps trends.
