Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. This fully remote role supports global teams and emphasizes automation, reliability, and scalability.

You will work with AWS/Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, IaC tools, and CI/CD platforms to streamline software delivery and improve performance. A strong DevOps background and collaboration across disciplines are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a DevOps or SRE role.
• Expertise with AWS and/or Azure cloud services.
• Strong containerization and orchestration skills with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting (Python/Bash) and IaC (Terraform/Ansible).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Implement and manage Docker containers and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Automate provisioning with Terraform and Ansible.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot to ensure high availability.
• Collaborate with developers to improve deployment processes and system resilience.
