Job summary

WatersEdge Solutions is seeking a senior DevOps / SRE Cloud Engineer to own a production Azure-based Kubernetes platform. You’ll build and operate resilient cloud infrastructure, strengthen CI/CD, and improve observability to run workloads reliably at scale.

You’ll work with Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, GitHub Actions and SRE practices, and you’ll own deployment pipelines, security and performance improvements while collaborating with hybrid/remote teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DevOps/SRE or platform engineering experience.
• 2-3+ years operating Kubernetes workloads in production.
• 2+ years hands-on Azure experience.
• Strong production experience with AKS.
• Hands-on experience with Azure services like ADLS Gen2, Azure Key Vault and Entra ID.
• Understanding of Azure workload identities and managed identities.
• Strong Azure networking experience (VNets, private endpoints, firewall rules).
• Experience with Terraform IaC and managing Terraform state across environments.
• Strong Docker experience including image builds and health checks.
• CI/CD excellence with GitHub Actions and automated gates.
• Observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana, SRE practices.
• SRE concepts: SLOs, incidents, capacity planning.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain production Kubernetes clusters and Azure infrastructure.
• Manage modular Terraform infrastructure across environments.
• Own deployments, configurations, upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Design and maintain Helm charts and environment overlays.
• Manage node pools, resource requests/limits and capacity.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and build gates.
• Maintain container images and health checks; support local development with Docker Compose.
• Maintain platform observability: dashboards, metrics, alerting, logging, SLOs.
• Participate in incident response and capacity planning.
• Ensure secure secrets management and integration with Azure Key Vault.
