Placements24 is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. This fully remote role supports global teams and emphasizes automation, reliability, and scalability.

You will work with AWS/Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, IaC tools, and CI/CD platforms to streamline software delivery and improve performance. A strong DevOps background and collaboration across disciplines are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a DevOps or SRE role.
• Expertise with AWS and/or Azure cloud services.
• Strong containerization and orchestration skills with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting (Python/Bash) and IaC (Terraform/Ansible).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

Responsibilities

You will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and managing our client's cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability. You will work closely with development and operations teams to streamline the software development lifecycle and enhance our overall technical capabilities from anywhere in the world.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure, primarily on AWS or Azure .
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment, testing, and monitoring using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Implement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestrate them using Kubernetes .
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement proactive solutions to ensure high availability.
• Collaborate with software engineers to improve deployment processes, application performance, and system resilience.

Requirements
