Job summary

Scrums is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own the infrastructure and deployment pipelines across cloud platforms. You will manage Kubernetes clusters, implement IaC, and build robust CI/CD processes for fast, reliable software delivery to international clients.

The role emphasizes production reliability, incident response, and automating deployment workflows, enabling teams to ship confidently during critical Fridays.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DevOps or SRE experience.
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience in production environments.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS preferred).
• Infrastructure-as-code proficiency (Terraform preferred).
• Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go for automation.
• Experience with incident response, post-mortems, and production reliability practices.

Responsibilities

• Own the infrastructure and deployment pipelines used by engineering teams.
• Design and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, building, and deployment.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration for production workloads.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
• Set up monitoring, alerting, and observability tooling (Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, or CloudWatch).
• Improve deployment reliability through blue-green deployments, canary releases, and rollback automation.
