Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney with 6+ years' experience in data privacy and protection law.
• Deep knowledge of POPIA, GDPR, and international privacy regimes.
• Experience developing privacy compliance programs and leading DPIAs.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive data privacy policies and procedures.
• Advise on compliance with POPIA, GDPR, and other relevant data protection laws.
• Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and advise on data processing agreements.
• Manage data breach incidents and lead response efforts.
• Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on data privacy best practices.
