You will run all phases of litigation from assessment to appeals, while thriving in a remote setup and handling a dynamic caseload.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of focused commercial litigation experience, strong civil procedure knowledge, and proficiency in e-discovery and remote practice technologies.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of commercial litigation experience, with trial involvement.
• Strong knowledge of South African civil procedure and commercial law.
• Proficiency in legal research, drafting pleadings, and managing complex matters.

Responsibilities

• Manage diverse commercial litigation caseload from start to resolution.
• Perform in-depth legal research, draft pleadings and discovery requests/responses.
• Represent clients in court, mediations, and arbitrations, including virtual appearances.
