Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Litigation Attorney to join its fully remote South Africa legal team. You will manage complex civil litigation matters from inception to resolution, provide strategic counsel, and represent clients across jurisdictions from your chosen location.

Based in Upington, Northern Cape, this remote-first role requires exceptional autonomy, courtroom advocacy, and strong research skills, with the added benefit of a supportive, growth-focused firm

Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney with at least 8 years of post-qualification civil litigation experience.
• Proven success in complex commercial litigation or personal injury matters.
• Excellent written and verbal advocacy and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with electronic discovery tools and litigation software.
• Excellent remote communication and self-management for a remote-first role.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of complex litigation matters from inception to resolution.
• Conduct thorough legal research to develop case strategies.
• Draft pleadings, briefs and other court documents with precision.
• Represent clients in hearings, mediations and arbitrations.
• Advise clients on legal rights, obligations and risks in litigation.
• Collaborate with a virtual team of attorneys and staff.
